About The Position

The team at Heritage Dental in Orangeville, ON is looking for a passionate, hard-working Associate Dentist on a part-time basis. This is a long-term position in a large office with multiple associates and a bustling environment. The role includes one evening and some Saturdays. We are seeking an independent, confident individual with excellent communication skills who works well within a team and fits our office culture, providing excellent family dentistry to our patients. The ideal candidate should be proficient in endodontics, oral surgeries, crown and bridge work, oral sedation, and implants. Knowledge in ABELdent is an asset. The Associate Dentist will deliver a full spectrum of dental services with the highest quality of care, ensuring patients have a positive and rewarding experience. The ideal candidate is skilled in making patients feel at ease, communicating clearly with patients and coworkers, and working independently when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, OR successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
• Registered or in processing of registering with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
• Open to those currently registered with other Canadian province(s).
• A minimum of 2-3 years experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in ABELdent is an asset.
• Confident in endodontics, oral surgeries, crown and bridge work, oral sedation, and implants.
