Requirements
- A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a focus on patient care within a dental clinic environment.
- Proficiency in performing oral surgeries and dental extractions is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
- Specialize in areas such as Endodontics and Prosthodontics as needed.
- Utilize advanced technologies and software such as Epic for patient management and record keeping.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques during all procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental practices and medical terminology.
