About The Position

Newest Smiles in New Westminster is looking to welcome a patient-focused Associate Dentist to their modern, growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician comfortable with bread-and-butter dentistry who is eager to continue expanding their skills with mentorship and support for more complex procedures. The clinic is equipped with modern technology including digital X-rays, intraoral scanners, panoramic imaging, and advanced digital workflows to support efficient and high-quality dentistry. 123Dentist is one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing dental support organizations, providing the non-clinical backbone for dental teams across the country.

Requirements

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, OR successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
Registered or in processing of registering with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals.
Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of British Columbia.
Open to those currently registered with other Canadian province(s).
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients’ families.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, comprehensive patient care.
Perform general bread-and-butter dentistry including restorative, crowns & bridges, endodontics, and extractions.
Engage in growth-oriented learning and accept mentorship for more complex cases.
Utilize a strong patient-focused and comprehensive treatment planning approach.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
