About The Position
The UC Irvine Student Health Center is a comprehensive outpatient clinic staffed with licensed primary care physicians, psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, dentists, physician assistants, registered nurse practitioners, and registered nurses. Medical specialists from various disciplines including dermatology, orthopedics/sports medicine, gynecology, internal medicine, and ENT provide on-site consultation on a regular basis. Student Health also offers basic radiology and clinical laboratory services, insurance consultation, and an on-site pharmacy, making SHC a comprehensive and convenient clinic dedicated to serving students.
Requirements
- DDS, or recognized equivalent
- Dental License as verified by Dental Board of California
- Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of dentistry in California as determined by the Dental Board of California
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

- Board Certified preferred at this level
Responsibilities
- Perform oral and X-ray examinations
- Perform the full range of restorative procedures
- Perform dental extractions or operations
- Perform a full range of dental procedures allowed by the incumbent’s licensure
- Prepare and keep clinical records
- Perform dental prophylaxis and non-surgical periodontal services
- Participate in staff conferences and meetings
