About The Position

Sonora Smiles, an established and growing family dental practice in Sonora, California, is seeking an Associate Dentist to provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages and grow with the practice. The dentist will work alongside an experienced owner dentist and a supportive team in a practice with an established patient base, five existing operatories, and plans to expand to eight. The practice uses CBCT, CEREC same-day crowns, digital radiography, digital Panorex, a diode laser, and 3D printing. The role offers mentorship, clinical independence, and opportunities to develop clinical skills and a long-term patient following. The practice's long-term vision may include a future partnership or ownership opportunity for the right candidate.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, typically 8 AM to 5 PM, with three-day weekends. Compensation includes a competitive daily guarantee for the first 90 days, followed by collections-based compensation with earning potential up to 34% of net collections. Additional incentives may be considered for the right candidate. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and mentorship and professional development opportunities are available.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Active California dental license or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages.
• Perform procedures such as restorative dentistry, endodontics, extractions, oral surgery, and implant placement, based on experience and interests.
• Deliver quality, personalized patient care and build lasting relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Develop clinical confidence and skills with mentorship from the owner dentist.
