About The Position

Riverbend Family Dental Care is seeking a motivated and collaborative Associate Dentist to join their established, family-oriented practice in Edmonton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team environment with strong mentorship and the ability to grow your own patient base. The practice supports a broad scope of dentistry and offers opportunities to expand skills. The practice has recently undergone team rebuilding with a renewed focus on collaboration, patient experience, and long-term growth. It is a fully digital and paperless environment with advanced technology. The practice offers a supportive and growth-focused environment where associates can develop clinically and professionally while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process.
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Domiciled in Canada.
  • Comfortable working evenings and rotational Saturdays.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable.
  • Patient-focused with strong communication skills.
  • Open to mentorship and continuous learning.
  • Committed to building a schedule and growing a patient base.
  • Comfortable ramping up and building long-term success within the practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced oral surgery (e.g., impacted thirds).
  • Complex endodontics.
  • Removable prosthodontics (dentures).

Responsibilities

  • Work independently on designated days (Fridays).
  • Build and grow your own schedule and patient base.
  • Provide general (bread-and-butter) dentistry.
  • Perform basic endodontics.
  • Perform Invisalign treatments.
  • Perform implant dentistry.
  • Potentially perform advanced oral surgery (e.g., impacted thirds).
  • Potentially perform complex endodontics.
  • Potentially perform removable prosthodontics (dentures).
  • Administer nitrous sedation.
  • Collaborate with the Partner’s clinical vision.
  • Engage in formal and structured mentorship with esteemed team members and colleagues.
  • Utilize provided resources and technology to deliver exceptional care and patient outcomes.
