Family Dentistry Associates of Johnstown is a close-knit, small-town dental practice where relationships matter just as much as clinical excellence. Our facility features 7 operatories and a robust hygiene program with 4 hygienists, providing a stable and busy environment for a community-focused doctor. We stay at the forefront of modern dentistry to provide the best care possible. You will have access to Same-Day Dentistry: Dentsply Sirona – CEREC Primemill, Imaging: iTero Scanner, and Treatment: Laser technology for advanced clinical procedures.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (DMD or DDS) from an accredited dental school.
- Active Pennsylvania dental license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- A desire for mentorship, a commitment to clinical growth, and a "patient-first" philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions; perform procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions.
- Develop and present comprehensive, individualized treatment plans; examine X-rays and diagnostic tests to determine patient needs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care; explain treatment options and risks in a clear, patient-friendly manner to build long-term trust.
- Supervise and support dental hygienists, assistants, and front office staff; collaborate with specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and strictly follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
- Monitor production goals and maintain efficiency in scheduling to support practice health and patient satisfaction.
