We are actively seeking a Traveling Associate Dentist (Hartford/New Britain) to join our growing team. Requirements

  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
  • Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (only LA, MS, DC, TX, MA)
  • Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
  • Willing and able to travel/work between the locations: 105 Myrtle St, New Britain, CT 06051 and 1888 Main St, Hartford, CT 06120
  • Value teamwork, mutual respect, and cooperation.
  • Do not practice unlawful discrimination, including harassment or tolerate it in our workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Providing dental services to patients with the support of their team.
  • Using DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces.
  • Participating in yearly OSHA and HIPPA and Emergency Management training.
  • Working with a ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider.
  • Serving a patient base that is primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population.
  • Managing office flow with an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients.
  • Working with state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payor mix.
  • Participating in activities to promote a positive image of the company.
  • Joining in morning huddles, planning the day, and appreciating the team.
  • Highlighting great examples of customer focus, collaboration, and meeting goals.
