About The Position
We are currently seeking an Associate Dentist to join a reputable dental practice in Plainville, CT. This practice has decades of longevity providing dental services to those in the Plainville area. It is a 12 operatory practice equipped with iTero and Cone Beam endo system technology. Experience is required, with a strong skillset, for a dentist that wants to be busy. This is a full-time opportunity.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in dental software and technology
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose dental conditions
- Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings
- Administer local anesthetics and sedatives as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education
