About The Position
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from the appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to ensure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students. Day and evening positions are available on the WCJC Wharton and Sugar Land Campus.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Doctorate, preferably in Nursing.
- If Master's Degree is in a discipline other than Nursing, must hold Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and minimum of six graduate hours in Nursing.
- A valid, unencunbered TX Nursing License or privilege to practice.
- Criminal background check required.
- Copies of college/university transcript(s) showing nursing coursework and degree(s) conferred.
- Curriculum Vitae/Resume outlining nursing work and/or teaching experience.
- Copy of current unencumbered Registered Nurse License issued by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
