How you can impact: As the Associate Director/Dean, Nursing you will: Responsible for the campus clinical component of the BSN program. Collects evaluation feedback from students, staff and clinical sites. Ensure that clinical partner satisfaction ratings are maintained or improved over time. Ensure student clinical experience satisfaction ratings maintained or improved over time. Conduct comprehensive clinical faculty observations and provide appropriate feedback or intervention in accordance with approved schedule. Oversight of all student and faculty clinical schedule/assignments processes. Oversight of the MCO process for students’ clinical orientation to include clinical packets; health and safety requirements. Oversight of accurate/timely student clinical grids submission to clinical partners. Responsible for the oversight of student clinical placements with identified facilities. Oversight of process for Manager of Clinical Operations attestation forms for student placements. Develops a process with the Manager Clinical Operations to ensure clinical placement requests are completed in an accurate and timely manner, either online or manually and confirmed.

Requirements

Master’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in education, business, or administration required.
Current Registered Nurse License required in state of employment.
Current CPR Certification
Current Driver's License
Advanced practical knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of a single professional discipline or a broad understanding of multiple related disciplines.
Experience leading a team, project, program, or function is typically required.
Minimum of 5 years of related work and educational experience.
Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellence.
Knowledge in technological support and delivery of program area and services.
Knowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills in a higher education setting overseeing clinical relationships.
Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards such as Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) or other nursing accrediting agencies, e.g., CCNA, CCNE,ACEN, and other accreditation standards.

Nice To Haves

Approval by the Board of Registered Nursing to assume the role of Nursing Instructor preferred.
