About The Position

GuideStone is seeking an Associate Data & Reporting Analyst to provide ownership of GuideStone Advisors ("GSA") operational reporting, analytics, and business intelligence. This role will support the GuideStone Advisors operations team by evaluating current operational processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing reporting, automation, and workflow solutions. The goal is to enhance visibility into capacity, service levels, efficiency, advisor satisfaction, and performance metrics. The Associate Data & Reporting Analyst will contribute to automation initiatives and strengthen data-driven decision-making to support the rapid growth and expansion of service offerings to faith-focused investors. This role embodies the enterprise driver of 'Drives Impact' by delivering data-driven insights that advance enterprise strategy and enable meaningful outcomes.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field; basic skill set and proficiency.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience; preferred degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, including pivot tables, look-up functions, data analysis techniques, and data manipulation.
  • Exceptional accuracy and detail orientation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in wealth management operations.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and reporting best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support of GSA operational reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Evaluate, improve and/or convert existing GSA Operations systems to Power BI and maintain them going forward.
  • Improve visibility into capacity, service levels, efficiency, advisor satisfaction, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support GSA Operations decision-making.
  • Support automation initiatives and strengthen data-driven decision making across the operations function.
  • Be cross-trained on other responsibilities within the GSA Operations team, including trading, portfolio operations, client onboarding, portfolio model maintenance/assignments, client reporting and billing.
  • Support portfolio accounting and reconciliation of data across internal and external systems as needed.
  • Pursue excellence by demonstrating continuous professional growth and developing proficiency in business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms.
  • Support the utilization of financial technology, tools, and methodology utilized by GSFS/GSA, especially for reporting and analytics needs.
  • Contribute to project teams representing the operational needs of GSFS/GSA as assigned.
  • Foster teamwork through clear communication, contributing to shared goals, following practical guidelines, and incorporating regular feedback that builds technical and analytical skills.
  • Learn and utilize relevant securities industry rules, issues, laws, and current events.
