About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Data Engineer who is eager to build foundational data engineering and analytics skills while delivering impactful insights through dashboards, data pipelines, and business intelligence solutions. This entry-level position focuses on building and supporting data pipelines, developing dashboards, and translating business requirements into meaningful data solutions. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow within modern data warehousing and analytics environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
  • 2 years of experience in data analytics, ETL, or data warehousing
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Python
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies (Kimball)
  • Familiarity with BI/DW lifecycle processes (ETL, data marts, reporting, analytics)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Python and Azure Fabric highly preferred
  • Experience with Agile methodology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop KPIs, metrics, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Deliver timely, accurate, and meaningful business intelligence to stakeholders
  • Assist in building backend data processes using established data warehouse modeling techniques (e.g., Kimball)
  • Support the development of simple ETL pipelines and data transformations
  • Contribute to data mart creation and reporting structures
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Support team initiatives to deliver consistent, high-quality business intelligence
  • Work within Agile frameworks to contribute to sprint deliverables
  • Continuously learn and adopt modern data technologies and best practices
