About The Position

Billion Dollar Boy US is looking for an Associate Creative Director who brings passion, confidence, leadership, and an obsession with craft to a team already making waves. As our Associate Creative Director, you’ll sit at the intersection of brands and culture — turning ideas into work that stops the scroll and actually makes people feel something. You bring a sharp eye for both brand and creator, blending visual identity and voice in a way that feels seamless, authentic, and culturally relevant. We’re looking for a creative leader with a hunger for culture and creators, and a relentless obsession with craft — someone who rejects the comfortable, embraces the strange, and knows how to create work that earns attention. You understand how ideas live across the entire advertising funnel, from social insights and influencer communities, expanding into the full ecosystem. You can spot the hook that makes something take off, while also thinking bigger — tapping into subcultures, shaping narratives, and turning a brand brief into something irresistible without losing the soul of the creator. You know how to take a brief, dissect it, and translate it into clear, actionable direction. You partner closely with Strategy, Account, and Production to shape the response, then lead your team through execution — ensuring the work is culturally relevant, emotionally resonant, and built to perform. You’ll serve as the senior creative lead with clients, leading a multidisciplinary team across creative and production from concept through final delivery. You’re hands-on — breaking down briefs, setting direction, and elevating the work at every stage. Our creative north star is simple: reject the comfortable, embrace the strange, and dominate the conversation. You lead your team to do exactly that. In this role, you’ll lead creative thinking on some of our biggest and most complex briefs — while mentoring the team and raising the bar on craft across everything we do. You have a deep understanding of what audiences consider great content — who’s making it, why it works, and how brands can authentically show up within it. You know how to collaborate with creators, providing clear direction while leaving space for their voice and creativity to shine. You believe co-creation is a powerful brand-building tool — and you know how to make it work.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in advertising, with a strong focus on digital, social, and creator-led campaigns
  • A proven track record of developing standout conceptual work that is culturally relevant and built to drive impact
  • A strong point of view on culture, with the ability to tap into trends, subcultures, and audience behavior
  • Deep understanding of the creator and influencer landscape — who’s shaping culture and how to work with them effectively
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with talent, balancing clear direction with creative freedom
  • A social-first mindset — you understand how ideas land across platforms, from hook to execution
  • Strong ability to dissect briefs and translate them into clear creative direction
  • Proven ability to lead ideas from concept through execution, while guiding teams to do the same
  • Experience ideating for experiential moments and events, and how they connect back to social and content ecosystems
  • Confident creative leader with experience mentoring teams and elevating craft
  • Collaborative and cross-functional — comfortable working with Strategy, Account, and Production
  • Strong knowledge of platforms, trends, and best practices — and how to apply them to the work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and switch between brands with ease
  • Commercially aware — understands how ideas drive impact and can translate insights into action

  • You’ll qualify briefs for the creative team, and define the creative team output per project. Interrogating briefs to identify unseen creative opportunities and ensure that they create the environment for creative success
  • You’ll set creative direction and coach other team members to develop the best creative ideas they can, competently identifying core ideas within their thinking and guiding them with further development.
  • You’ll manage a team of diverse creatives on a day to day basis, discussing career progression, objective setting, and where necessary, having difficult conversations when needed to improve performance.
  • You’ll advocate for creativity and creative effectiveness, establishing yourself as a clear voice of authority for executional and conceptual creativity. This will involve proactively sharing great creative work with the global BDB team, and empowering everyone to achieve better creative ideas.
  • Act as a senior creative voice with clients, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Present work with clarity and confidence, bringing clients along the creative journey
  • Lead conversations around creative direction, feedback, and evolution of ideas
  • Understand the commercial impact of ideas — including cost, value, and scalability
