About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Creative Director who is deeply dedicated to craft to lead our Core Brand and Visual Systems team. While campaigns capture attention, your team captures loyalty. In this role, you will own the evolution and application of the Peloton Brand Identity across our owned channels (Site, Email, App Store) and physical touchpoints (Retail, Packaging). You will be the architect of our design systems, ensuring that every pixel and print piece feels premium and distinctly Peloton. You will manage a team of designers to execute high-volume, high-quality work that drives business performance without sacrificing brand integrity. This is an ideal role for a design leader who loves typography, grid systems, and scaling creative excellence. This role will report directly to our Creative Director of Brand Lab.

Requirements

  • A robust portfolio demonstrating both integrated creative vision and product-driven work.
  • 7+ years of design experience with a heavy focus on branding, visual identity systems, and digital design.
  • Proven expertise and leadership in design and art direction, typically gained through 5+ years of relevant experience in a creative leadership capacity.
  • A keen eye for typography, motion, color story,and narrative hierarchy.
  • Experience managing direct reports and providing clear, actionable creative feedback.
  • Proven experience in leading and executing digital creative assets, including visual design, art direction, and foundational understanding of video production and copywriting.
  • Deep proficiency in modern design and collaboration tools(i.e. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite ,etc.) and a foundational understanding of product design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate changing priorities effectively within a highly collaborative and dynamic team setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale and strategic vision to diverse audiences.
  • Committed to high quality craft and exceptional attention to detail.
  • A high degree of professional curiosity and the ability to quickly immerse in Peloton’s brand ethos to develop resonant creative strategy across the fitness category and consumer brands more broadly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing for physical spaces or print is a strong plus.
  • Experience adapting large-scale brand campaigns for diverse international markets is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Global Brand Guidelines and Figma Design Systems, ensuring the wider team has the tools to create consistent work efficiently.
  • Oversee the art direction and design for high-visibility organic channels including .com, CRM/Email, and App store presence.
  • Work closely with the partner brand's creative teams, fostering a cohesive and collaborative environment to develop truly integrated creative systems.
  • Collaborate with retail teams to bring the brand to life in physical showrooms and through packaging/unboxing experiences.
  • Partner with growth marketing to raise the design standard of performance assets, proving that "brand" and "conversion" can coexist.
  • Manage Senior and Mid-level designers, providing daily art direction and professional guidance.
  • Serve as the ultimate reviewer for core brand assets, ensuring the highest standards of typography, photography, and layout consistency.
  • Ensure all creative outputs are aligned with Peloton's overall brand strategy and visual/verbal guidelines, maintaining a consistent and unified brand presence.
  • Guide and mentor creative team members involved in the projects, providing constructive feedback and fostering an inclusive and innovative environment.
  • Stay current on industry trends and platform updates to ensure the brand remains fresh, relevant, and impactful, adapting quickly to new opportunities
  • Take ownership and drive creative projects from concept to execution, proactively partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of assets and managing complex priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
