Funday is a full-service agency that values creativity and fun. We are looking for an Associate Creative Director (Art) to lead creative teams and set the creative vision. This role requires experience in leading creative teams, a passion for great work, and the ability to be hands-on with design tools. The position is remote and collaborative, working with strategists, technologists, and producers to bring creative solutions to life. Requirements

Portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills that result in innovative and inspiring creative solutions – must provide examples of digital work.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a creative agency (digital agency experience is an asset).
Minimum of 3-5 years in an Associate Creative Director role, with experience managing junior team members.
Curiosity and a passion for digital media and the latest trends in tech.
Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks.
Ability to balance coaching junior team members and responding to client feedback.
A strong desire to make work that works – sells products, makes clients swoon, and wins awards.
Willingness and excitement to get directly involved in the work and provide design solutions alongside the team.
Marketing sense and an interest in developing campaigns that can work across channels.
Must live in Canada and be eligible to work in BC, AB, or ON.

Responsibilities

Be the creative visionary for the team of art directors, designers, copywriters, and other creative minds, keeping them inspired and motivated.
Collaborate with the Creative Director, strategists, designers, and copywriters on concept development for ads, branding, digital, and social media content.
Drive creative projects forward, ensuring quality, consistency, and brand integrity across various media like TV spots, print ads, and social campaigns.
Perform quality control on projects to ensure they are on point.
Design hands-on alongside the team, acting as an expert in doing and not just directing.
Interact with clients alongside the Engagement Manager, presenting ideas, gathering feedback, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Foster teamwork and support within the creative crew, encouraging idea sharing and mutual assistance.
Mentor junior team members and share wisdom.
