About The Position

The Inventory Associate will be joining the Inventory Management team in an ever-evolving role with a central focus on inventory control and integrity. This position includes weekend hours, and we will work with the selected candidate to establish a consistent schedule that meets both business needs and individual availability. The ideal candidate demonstrates consistent problem-solving judgement, strong analytical skills, and an eagerness and willingness to constantly improve.

Requirements

  • 1 year minimum of inventory control experience, ranging anywhere from cycle counting, WMS and ERP System experience with research and corrective actions, to sales order/purchase order exception assessing and processing
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with reporting tools and data analysis required.
  • Proven analytical, research, and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple system tickets concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively and lead discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of general work practices in logistics and warehousing, including but not limited to order processing, picking, shipping and delivery/return procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Ability to thoroughly manage time and all assigned tasks at both an individual level and a team level.
  • Meets KPIs and follows documented SOPs.
  • Aptitude to build respectful and meaningful working relationships; collaborates with others to achieve common goals and is always willing to learn and lead.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred.
  • Experience in public company environments and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SOX) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory audits, adjustments and corrections in a compliant manner, in line with assigned tasks, while keeping integrity of inventory health a priority.
  • Complete all DC-to-Showroom transfers within 24 hours of delivery and follow up to confirm receipt and proper handling.
  • Provide general support to showrooms and promptly investigate and resolve any transfer discrepancies to ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor and manage Salesforce requests related to general inventory corrections, Showroom cycle count submissions, and inventory status change requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution across DCs and Showrooms.
  • Understanding the intricacies and systematic interactions of ERP, WMS and other systems utilized under Arhaus’ logistics umbrella to efficiently audit the movement of inventory and deal with all reported discrepancies, while also always considering the human-factor to these actions when problem-solving.
  • Provide support for cycle counts and physical inventories reconciliation and adjustments as needed basis.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system processes and issue resolution protocols.
  • Support compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and other public company standards, ensuring robust controls over inventory processes.
