From identifying and supporting a variety of corporate legal matters to negotiating the industry’s evolving legal landscape, our corporate counselors bring their own kind of invention to effect positive change across the company.

Requirements

Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in at least one state
Strong foundational skills in legal research, contract drafting, and analytical problem-solving.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal issues to non-lawyer stakeholders.
Demonstrated interest in technology, telecommunications, digital media, or in-house corporate practice.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including commercial vendor contracts, technology licensing, media rights, network infrastructure agreements, and digital advertising deals.
Partner directly with internal business, operational, and technical teams (such as Content Acquisition, Wireless Engineering, Media Sales, and IT) to align legal strategy with business goals.
Provide clear, pragmatic legal guidance on contract interpretation, dispute avoidance, data privacy, consumer privacy, and intellectual property matters under the supervision of senior legal counsel.
Utilize modern legal operations tools—including legal AI software, templates, and playbooks—to streamline contract review workflows and enhance team efficiency.
Assist senior attorneys with complex transactional, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters as needed.
