About The Position

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to fill the position of Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services, a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. Amazon Web Services is at the forefront of the cloud computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, AI/ML, database services and more.

Requirements

• 2+ years of post bar admission legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
• Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Transactional drafting and negotiation on commercial agreements
• Provide ongoing legal counsel to business leaders
• Advise on regulatory and compliance issues
• Assist with marketing-related activities
