About The Position
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a candidate to analyze and improve sequences of manufacturing / operations and workflows to improve efficiencies pertaining to cost/schedule control, cost reduction, inventory control, and all phases of production record systems. The candidate will assist with establishing methods for maximum utilization of production processes through improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences, Finance or related field
- Completed bachelor's degree within the last 12 months
Responsibilities
- Provides continuous improvement support to manufacturing operations and related functional areas
- Lead and support improvement efforts directed towards workflow, work sequencing, work area layout, and standardized work
- Monitor and development improvement efforts to ensure safe and efficient utilization of time, personnel, material, equipment, and capital resources
