About The Position

Clearsulting is seeking an Associate Consulting Manager, Intercompany (Blackline) to join their team. This role involves serving as the day-to-day client lead, managing workstream execution, and leading the design and implementation of intercompany process and technology solutions. The position also includes coaching and mentoring junior team members, assessing current processes for improvement, and contributing to business development and practice initiatives. A key aspect of the role is leveraging AI and automation to enhance delivery and develop innovative solutions. The position offers hybrid or remote work options, with specific expectations for in-person work for those within commuting distance of an office. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a business-related field of study
  • 4–6+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting or industry, preferably supporting complex or global organizations
  • Experience with intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, or financial process design and transformation
  • Experience supporting or leading implementations of tools such as BlackLine, Alteryx, Power BI, or similar technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workstreams, including planning, execution, and risk management
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data validation, testing, and issue resolution
  • Emerging leadership experience, including mentoring or guiding junior team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to clients
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress toward certification
  • BlackLine, Alteryx, Fabric, or similar technology certifications
  • Experience with end-to-end intercompany processing, including allocations, matching, reconciliation, settlement, and reporting
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, including process redesign and implementation
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles, including requirements gathering, solution design, and testing cycles
  • Experience contributing to business development or internal practice initiatives
  • Exposure to AI and automation tools applied within finance or accounting processes

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead, building stakeholder relationships, facilitating discussions, and addressing business challenges.
  • Lead workstream execution, manage plans and milestones, identify risks, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Coach and mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts, supporting development, accountability, and team success.
  • Lead the design and implementation of intercompany process and technology solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help define future-state operating models.
  • Support business development, practice initiatives, knowledge sharing, and engagement financial management.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve delivery, develop reusable solutions, and drive continuous innovation.
