Associate Consultant - Japanese Language Proficiency Required
About The Position
We have a client requirement that entails Japanese fluency and we are seeking a recent graduate to join our team in Los Angeles as an associate consultant. This role involves supporting Avasant client engagements, working at client sites under tight deliverable schedules and quality expectations. The associate consultant will develop financial business cases, risk models, and strategies for optimization and growth, as well as develop deliverables and proposals based on frameworks and methodologies with team oversight. The role also includes performing market and risk assessments on technology provider services and qualifications, conducting research, analyzing and reporting on unstructured data and information based on project or business team requirements, and assisting with the development of competitive bid documents, statements of work, financial models, gain sharing models, and partnership T&C’s. Additionally, the associate consultant will assist with project management, support intellectual capital in new consulting growth areas, and support client proposal development.
Requirements
- Fluent in Japanese
- Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics or related field.
- Experience in creating a business plan, inclusive of financial analysis, optimization and growth strategies, and risk assessments
- Knowledge of the market for technologies, software and services related to enterprise transformation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
- Has demonstrated leadership, project management and business development skills through extracurricular activities or jobs/internships, sports, etc.
- Deep knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and MS-Project
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have current valid work authorization to work in the United States or be Canadian or Mexican nationals eligible for NAFTA TN work authorization. Avasant will not sponsor any other work authorization for any candidates.
