About The Position

Avania is hiring an Associate Consultant to join our Market Access/Reimbursements Consulting Team. Our fast growing, market leading international market access consultancy division is seeking candidates with the drive and motivation to support the development and execution of product market access strategies in the medical device and in vitro diagnostic sectors. In the key role of Consultant, you will develop health economic and launch strategies for the latest, leading-edge innovations in medical devices and diagnostic products. You will work with both start-ups and major manufacturers across the USA and globally. This is a fast paced, customer-oriented consulting position in a rapidly growing industry, based in our downtown Boston offices. Specific job activities include strategy assessments, reviewing clinical peer reviewed literature, drafting proposals, performing primary and secondary desk research, presentations and extensive client interactions/consulting related to the synopses of the state of the science throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

Drive and motivation to support the development and execution of product market access strategies in the medical device and in vitro diagnostic sectors.
Ability to develop health economic and launch strategies for innovations in medical devices and diagnostic products.
Experience working with start-ups and major manufacturers.
Experience in strategy assessments.
Experience reviewing clinical peer reviewed literature.
Experience drafting proposals.
Experience performing primary and secondary desk research.
Experience with presentations.
Experience with client interactions/consulting.
