Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Requires a comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, tools, and concepts within Investment banking discipline.
  • Applies general knowledge of business and financial markets developed through education or experience.
  • Expected to use judgement to make decisions without seeking approval.
  • Exchanges straightforward information asks questions to junior staff and checks for their understanding.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, technology, or related field
  • Use of Microsoft Office tools, advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Excellent time management, Analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Overall, 4+ years of experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment banking or related domain.

Responsibilities

  • Should possess problem solving ability relying on existing client procedures, capable of analyzing impending problems and formulate solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of process and should abide to achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators or Service level agreements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with various upstream parties, generate ideas to quickly turnaround query resolution and thereby strengthen stakeholder relationship.
  • Own client relationship and be capable of independently evaluating and resolving client queries, produce client reports and support clients understand the impact of their investment decisions.
  • Impart knowledge to junior staff by identifying tasks that demand training needs leading to upscaling their skills, assist in prioritization of work and deliverables.
  • Identify areas that require improvement to existing process, formulate solutions and implement them by collaborating with internal team members and necessary stakeholders.
  • Possesses required business acumen and technical savviness in overseeing work completed by the junior staff, provides them assistance in delivering agile and flawless reports.
  • Identifies and drives projects that would lead to increased efficiency and improved productivity of the team.
