About The Position

Nelson Mullins is seeking a Junior Corporate Associate to join its Communications, Internet, Technology & Privacy group in the Washington, DC office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic and growing team. The Washington office is staffed with individuals with years of experience at the forefront of political, business, litigation, regulatory, and diplomatic developments. Understanding how government works and how it impacts the clients of Nelson Mullins is a key service that the Washington office provides. Nelson Mullins represents national and global clients with needs closely tied to the Administration, Congress, regulatory agencies, and the capital’s international organizations. Washington office corporate attorneys have transactional experience ranging from banking and securities regulation, including investment company and broker/dealer issues, to commercial real estate and affordable housing. Washington office litigation attorneys often represent clients in matters of federal agency law and telecommunications. Representing clients around the country and the world, the firm and its Washington presence enhance our reputation as a full-service law firm. Requirements

  • One to two years of experience in communications law
  • Keen interest in internet dependent technologies and business models
  • Experience working on an array of subject matters, including telecommunications, broadband and may have experience in consumer protection related issues such as telemarketing, data privacy and cybersecurity
  • Admitted to, or eligible for admission to, the Bar of the District of Columbia

Responsibilities
