We have a culture that encourages an entrepreneurial spirit We offer multiple opportunities for development and upward mobility Working under the direction of the Team Lead, the Associate Collections Rep assists team members with daily tasks, monitors assigned loans, and communicates with insureds/borrowers, insurance agencies, insurance carriers, and/or sales representatives on payments, return premiums, discrepancies, and other loan related matters. This role is also responsible for researching loan discrepancies, assisting with ad-hoc projects, and communicating effectively to ensure work is appropriately prioritized.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years experience
  • Customer service experience
  • General computer skills, basic excel knowledge
  • High School Degree or equivalen t

Responsibilities

  • Assists team members with daily tasks during periods of high workload or absences.
  • Monitors assigned loans; initiates outbound calls and emails to follow up on payments, return premiums, and other loan information.
  • Processes incoming service requests, document all communication with internal and external parties, and processes loan updates and adjustment in the loan management system.
  • Investigate and resolve loan discrepancies to ensure we protect collateral and mitigate losses.
  • Assists manager and team members with ad hoc projects and tasks.
  • Communicates effectively with manager and team members to prioritize daily/weekly tasks, being flexible as needed.
