About The Position
Join Pax8 as a Associate Cloud Migration Specialist (Cloud Solutions Specialist) in the United States and help partners successfully plan, scope, and launch Microsoft cloud transformation projects. Requirements
- Proven understanding of Microsoft 365 environments and cloud technologies.
- Experience participating in, supporting, or planning Microsoft migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of how migrations are designed and executed, including scenarios such as: Exchange Server to Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, SharePoint to SharePoint Online migrations, OneDrive migrations, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID integration, Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations.
- The ability to confidently discuss migration processes, prerequisites, coexistence strategies, licensing considerations, risks, and dependencies.
- Experience gathering technical requirements and translating them into customer-facing documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- A passion for customer service and helping partners achieve successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for learning emerging technologies.
- Must hold valid right to work in USA.
Nice To Haves
- This is not a hands-on migration delivery role. You will not perform migrations yourself. Instead, you'll be responsible for understanding customer environments, defining migration strategies, documenting requirements, creating Statements of Work, and preparing projects for successful implementation by our engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops with partners to understand their existing environments, business goals, migration requirements, and technical challenges.
- Transform discovery findings into detailed Statements of Work, project scopes, assumptions, deliverables, and effort estimates.
- Advise partners on Microsoft cloud migration projects and help define the most appropriate migration approach.
- Act as the technical bridge between partners, sales teams, and implementation engineers.
- Own project opportunities from initial qualification through approval and successful handoff.
- Ensure all migration prerequisites, risks, dependencies, and technical considerations are documented before delivery begins.
- Collaborate closely with Pax8 sales teams to support project opportunities and help drive successful outcomes.
- Support colleagues with complex scoping scenarios and contribute to continuous process improvement.
