The Associate Clinical Specialist will be involved in basic market development activities and will represent Medtronic during surgical procedures, ensuring equipment availability, providing technical support, and performing device programming and testing. They will manage patients through the clinical process, educate them on product features, and provide clinical support in hospitals and clinics. The role also involves responding to technical inquiries, maintaining knowledge of competitive products, and educating healthcare professionals on Medtronic products and therapies. Additionally, the position supports new employee training, event reporting, order placement, and inventory management. The Associate Clinical Specialist partners with sales representatives to achieve business goals and maintains relationships with office staff. Proficiency with various technology tools, effective expense management, and adherence to quality policies are expected. The role requires flexibility with scheduling, potentially including weekends and evenings, and travel within and occasionally outside the assigned district.
