Associate Clinical Director (BCBA)

KIDS ABA SERVICESConway, AR
Onsite

About The Position

At KIDS ABA Services, we don’t just deliver therapy, we build clinical leaders. As our Associate Clinical Director, you’ll carry a small, focused caseload while stepping into real leadership: mentoring our BCBA team, shaping clinical quality, and helping the next generation of clinicians grow. This is the role for a BCBA who loves the clinical work but is ready to lead people, not just programs. We designed this position deliberately so you can do both well. Your caseload is capped so you’re never spread thin, you’re surrounded by structure and support instead of being thrown in alone, and you have a clear runway toward Clinical Director. If you’ve ever felt like your last company promoted you into leadership and then left you to figure it out, this is the opposite of that.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of post-certification BCBA experience, including at least 1–2 years supervising or mentoring other clinicians.
  • Comfort carrying a caseload and providing BACB-compliant supervision.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid / MCO documentation and authorization requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • You lead by example and genuinely enjoy developing other clinicians.
  • You believe in “hire for heart, then skill” and lead with a servant’s mindset.
  • You’re organized enough to balance a caseload, a team, and quality work at the same time.
  • You let data, not guesswork guide your clinical decisions.
  • You want to grow into a Clinical Director, and you want a team that will help you get there.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Small, Focused Caseload: Carry a direct caseload of up to 5 clients — assessment, individualized treatment planning, and data-based clinical decisions, with the time to do each one right.
  • Deliver meaningful parent and caregiver training, and partner closely with families on their child’s progress.
  • Mentor and Develop a Clinical Team: Supervise, coach, and grow a team of 5–7 BCBAs through fidelity checks, 1:1s, and regular team meetings, helping them become the clinicians (and leaders) they want to be.
  • Support clinical quality across the team, ensuring treatment plans and supervision meet the highest ethical and BACB standards.
  • Serve as a trusted clinical point of contact, stepping up as clinical lead when the Clinical Director is out.
  • Raise the Bar on Quality and Care: Conduct clinical audits and fidelity monitoring, using data to drive real improvements in client outcomes.
  • Help shape clinical policies, onboarding, and training that make every clinician on the team stronger.
  • Collaborate with administration and HR to keep clinical operations running smoothly, without the operational weight landing solely on you.
