About The Position

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking an Associate Client Advocate to join their Premier Personal Lines Insurance team in the Twin Cities. This is a junior-level, in-office role perfect for early-career insurance professionals or those looking to start a career in insurance. It is a service and support role, not sales-focused, emphasizing quality over quantity with an average of 10-15 calls per day. The position is designed to build expertise in personal insurance, develop top-notch customer service skills, and contribute to essential administrative tasks supporting clients. The office is located in Richfield, MN.

Requirements

  • Professional communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently.
  • Great customer service skills and enjoyment in serving others.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service focus & communication skills.
  • Excellent diplomacy skills / ability to resolve issues.
  • Independent user of technology.
  • College graduate or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License is required to perform this role - if individual does not already have this license they must be willing to obtain it if hired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Personal lines insurance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative functions in support of the service team, including data entry, accessing carrier websites, processing changes, verifying renewal policies, and communicating with third-party vendors.
  • Follow protocol for taking calls in department phone queues.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of carrier websites and utilize them to secure accurate and timely information for clients and third parties.
  • Comply with all internal procedures and practices while meeting service performance and quality standards.
  • Contribute to team efforts by openly sharing insurance knowledge.
  • Assume ownership of problems until resolution is successfully accomplished.
  • Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
