About The Position

This position is a full-time role within the Operation Management Department, reporting to the Director – Investigation Officer. The Associate Clearing Investigation Specialist is responsible for payment investigation and compensation processing and approval.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Finance or related field.
• At least two years' experience on Fund Transfer or Payment Investigation.
• Knowledgeable in international payments, SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, US Dollar clearing and settlement.
• Proficient in computer and Office software.
• Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
• Ability to be an active listener, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand by asking questions.
• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results, choosing the best solution to solve problems.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
• Chinese language proficiency is preferred to facilitate communication with ICBC Head Office and other ICBC branches and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Process investigation and compensation cases in related systems.
• Process payment inquiries using clearing/investigation systems and other communication tools if needed.
• Prepare payment vouchers and instructions after investigation.
• Monitor transactions and activities throughout the day.
• Monitor and resolve outstanding cases.
• Reconcile outstanding suspense and other accounts.
• Analyze, monitor, and report on the investigation business.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
