About The Position

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical (DCMC) Group provides client-centric engineering design services, specializing in enterprise, co-location, and hyper-scale data centers. They offer flexible, scalable solutions focused on energy efficiency and operational reliability. Their services include pre- and post-construction design engineering, site evaluations, and infrastructure optimization. The group emphasizes transparent collaboration throughout all project phases, from assessment and planning to execution, ensuring cohesion, accuracy, and adherence to schedule and budget. Their expertise covers electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil engineering, commissioning, acceptance testing, and construction management. As an entry-level civil and structural engineer at ENERCON, you will play a vital role in designing and strengthening critical infrastructure for energy and environmental systems. This includes ensuring the safety and resilience of power plants and renewable energy facilities, as well as leading environmental remediation projects. New graduates will gain hands-on experience on diverse, high-impact projects, learning from industry experts. Requirements

  • Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET- accredited school in Civil Engineering (with a structural focus) or Structural Engineering.
  • Available to start on an agreed upon date between January 2026 and July 2027.
  • A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
  • Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
  • Must be able to work outside.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
  • Completion of pre interview assessments.
  • College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
