About The Position

Element has an opportunity for a Associate Chemist who will be primarily responsible for performing regeneration of water treatment to provide sufficient boiler water make up. This role involves performing routine and complex chemical analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting team chemists to finish production in a timely manner according to specifications and strict adherence to quality. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible, self-motivated, a team player, and maintain awareness of health and safety mandated by the company. Good communication and organizational skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work required to perform duties
  • Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and good reporting skills

Responsibilities
