About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to make life and our environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable. This role involves applying GMP/GLP, performing sample preparation and analysis for various analytical methods, and reviewing data. The position is full-time, second shift (3p-11:30pm), Monday to Friday, with training on the first shift. Candidates living within a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
Proficiency with computers
Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Previous experience with sample preparation
Previous experience in a lab setting

Responsibilities

Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Performs prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods
Analyzes/preps samples and QC for routine testing
Reviews, works up, and assembles all supporting data for work performed
Performs basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work
Reads, understands, and carries out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC department
Prepares standard solutions and other reagents as needed
Uses word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC
Disposes of all chemical wastes using approved methods
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Works overtime as workload requires
