About The Position

The Associate Carpenter is responsible for assisting the construction and facilities services staff with all aspects of constructing and remodeling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Trade or Vocational School preferred.
- When applicable, may need a valid driver's license.
- If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- May assist with flooring, ceiling installation and systems, cabinets and millwork, wall protection, doors and hardware, wall covering removal, marker boards, tack boards, modular furniture, clocks, and interior signage.
- May also install cabinets, siding, drywall and batt or roll insulation.
- Basic knowledge of standard hand tool operation.
- Takes extra precautions when working in patient care areas and specifically, keep tools out of reach of children.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
