About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking a full-time Associate Procurement Specialist to support the Integrated Space Support Services (ISS2) program. This position provides procurement support for operational requirements across geographically dispersed government locations. The Associate Procurement Specialist will support routine purchasing activities, supplier coordination, purchase order administration, and procurement file maintenance while ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year of general professional experience in an office, administrative, customer service, purchasing, logistics, finance, or other business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and procurement procedures.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or subcontract administration experience.
  • Experience supporting Government contracts.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or other procurement systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement lifecycle for purchases, including preparing solicitations, obtaining quotations, issuing purchase orders, and administering procurement actions.
  • Process low-dollar purchases using company Purchasing Card (P-Card) procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, order status, deliveries, and routine procurement questions.
  • Review purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy prior to processing.
  • Maintain procurement files and documentation in accordance with company procedures and documentation standards.
  • Monitor purchases to ensure timely delivery and resolve routine procurement issues.
  • Work closely with program personnel to support operational procurement requirements.
  • Assist with supplier onboarding, including the collection, review, and processing of all required vendor documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable procurement procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other procurement projects as assigned.
