About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a structured, analytical Product Manager to join their Growth team. This role is designed for individuals with a strong foundation in problem-solving and analytics, gained through experience in consulting, strategy, or early product roles. The successful candidate will apply these skills to product ownership within a fast-paced environment. The role involves working on critical funnels that influence how millions of users discover, evaluate, and purchase car insurance. The position offers the opportunity to gain deep product and user experience context, and then take on increasing ownership of feature launches and growth initiatives. This role reports to the VP of Growth and involves close collaboration with Engineering (including a China-based team), Design, Analytics, and Marketing, with direct visibility to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Exceptionally structured thinker: ability to break down complex problems clearly and communicate with precision.
  • Strong customer empathy: thinking in user emotions and mental models, not just metrics.
  • Developing product and UX instincts: ability to articulate why a flow works or doesn’t and a desire to improve.
  • Data-driven: comfortable forming and pressure-testing hypotheses using quantitative analysis.
  • Hungry to build: excitement to move from frameworks and recommendations to owning and shipping product.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move fast without losing rigor.
  • 2–3 years of experience in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), product management, or product/business operations.
  • Willingness to flex working hours to maintain 3–4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours for engineering coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Chinese (Mandarin) language skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured product walkthroughs to map user journeys, identify friction points, and build a ground-level view of how funnels perform.
  • Own user feedback monitoring, synthesizing signals from reviews, support, and research into actionable insights.
  • Drive bug triage and resolution in partnership with Engineering, ensuring quality issues are prioritized and closed efficiently.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives, starting with well-scoped launches like landing pages and compliance-driven features.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to ship thoughtful, high-quality user experiences that balance speed, clarity, and trust.
  • Contribute to A/B testing, funnel analysis, and experiment design.
  • Help translate ambiguous customer problems into clear hypotheses, requirements, and roadmap priorities.
  • Coordinate with the China-based engineering team, including maintaining daily overlap during China business hours for tight execution.
