• Knowledge of TIF documents

Nice To Haves

• Preferred: Two or more years of College and completion of some insurance courses such as INS21, CIC or CISR, AU or CPCU

Responsibilities

• Take direction from and assist designated Brokers Assistant and Lead Broker(s) in all aspects.
• Study and learn about the commercial lines insurance industry with emphasis on Excess & Surplus Lines sector.
• Complete formal industry courses for technical knowledge
• Gain further knowledge and networking by attending industry professional training schools
• Work as a full time Clerical Assistant to gain knowledge of carrier operations.
• As an option for greater professional development and credibility, obtain certain professional designations.
