About The Position
Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) at BAYBROOK MALL, Friendswood TX and provide inspirational guest experiences in an interactive and vibrant store environment. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to join us on a seasonal, part-time basis. This position is expected to last until XYZ DATE, subject to change based on business needs. The role focuses on exceeding guest expectations through fun and meaningful interactions, ensuring a signature experience by greeting guests, performing cash register functions, and maintaining a professional, friendly demeanor. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties and upholding store display standards. The associate will also operate the store stockroom efficiently, assist in merchandise receiving, maintain stockroom standards, adhere to safety regulations, and report potential shortage situations. The position requires effective communication with team members and guests, processing transactions through the register system, and working various hours, including nights and weekends as business dictates. Associates will have access to all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
Requirements
- Must provide availability to work up to 25 hours per week including at least one weekend day with a minimum of 3 days (does not mean you’ll be scheduled for 25 hours, but 25 hours of availability must be given)
- Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Ensure a signature experience for every guest that visits our LEGO® stores by greeting every guest in your location, performing all cash register functions and portraying a professional, gracious, friendly and engaging manner at all times
- Provide a clean, safe and visually stimulating environment by performing daily cleaning duties, maintaining store displays and learning and executing LEGO® Brand Retail visual standards
- Safely and efficiently operate the store stockroom as you assist in the receiving of merchandise, maintain the stockroom to LEGO® Brand Retail standards, know and abide by all safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations
- Resolve customer issues and report challenging situations to manager
- Customer engagement
- Use of promotional materials, loyalty programs
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Process information/merchandise through the register system
