About The Position

The essential purpose of this position is to support the brand management and marketing strategy for the Tweezerman brand within the Canadian market. This role focuses on executing brand plans, product launches, and retail activations across key partners including Shoppers Drug Mart, Sephora Canada, London Drugs, Pharmasave, Rexall, McKesson and others as needed. The Associate Brand Manager will play a critical role in adapting global and U.S. initiatives to meet the unique needs of the Canadian consumers, driving brand visibility, sales growth, and profitability.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of brand management experience, preferably in the cosmetics/beauty industry.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Uncompromising attention to detail
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and taking initiative
  • Ability to work under unusual or extreme pressures
  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business, or a related field required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to adapt the global strategy, messaging and all assets for the Canadian market, ensuring successful execution that meet bilingual and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for adapting global assets for the Canadian market, inclusive but not limited to: new item presentations, marketing calendars, PR / sell sheets, education materials, new item launch announcements/samples, and brand catalogs.
  • Adapt global and U.S. strategy to address the needs for Canadian retail partners, ensuring local relevance and compliance with bilingual requirements.
  • Lead Canadian-specific product launches from concept to execution, including timelines, pricing, and retailer-specific requirements in collaboration with the PD team as needed.
  • Establish Canadian business cases per retailer and for the market; establishing pricing strategies in coordination with sales, considering currency exchange rates, competitive landscape, and retailer margin structures.
  • Coordinate the initial new item product forecast and new item set up with 3PL warehouse for the Sales and Operations teams to establish appropriate inventory levels across the Canadian distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with sales to support customer meetings and seasonal line reviews with data-driven assortment and merchandising recommendations.
  • Support the sales team through executing channel activation including customer specific needs such as product item set up criteria, product code requests, secondary location placement programs, planograms and educational POS materials.
  • Establish local product pricing while assessing costs and gross margins.
  • Conduct and analyze Canadian-specific consumer and competitive research, leveraging insights on bilingual communication, regional preferences, and market trends to drive strategy.
  • Ensure that products are proactively analyzed (POS, Shipments) to ensure they will meet their objectives.
  • Communicate marketing deliverables to cross functional teams including domestic marketing, customer service, sales, and operations.
  • Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions making sure to keep all teams informed.
