About The Position

The Associate Behavioral Health Therapist (A-BHT) is an early-career clinician and core member of the LiftED Horizons clinical team at the Colorado LiftED Foundation (CLF). The role provides direct therapeutic services to clients from age four through adulthood in the LiftED Horizons Therapeutic Services Program and the broader CLF community, using accessible, culturally affirming, trauma-responsive, and healing-centered approaches. The position is designed for professionals pursuing clinical licensure in Colorado in a supportive, learning-oriented environment. Preference is given to candidates who completed their clinical internship with LiftED Horizons at CLF. The therapist maintains a focused caseload and develops deep, trusting relationships with clients and families, centering clients as experts in their own lives and co-architects of their care. The position emphasizes continuity of therapeutic relationships where clinically appropriate, persistent advocacy to address barriers to healing, and collaborative care with supervisors, interns, schools, community providers, and interdisciplinary teams. The therapist also completes assessments and documentation, tracks outcomes, facilitates groups, and represents LiftED Horizons and CLF in community partnerships and outreach. This is a school-based position at Ricardo Flores Magón Academy. The role includes weekly individual supervision with a licensed clinical professional and ongoing clinical supervision toward licensure. Compensation is $57,784–$60,000 per year, salaried/exempt.
