About The Position

As an Associate Banker at Chase, you represent the company’s brand and culture by combining hospitality, banking technology, and attentive service. You contribute to branch success by delivering exceptional client experiences, building trusted relationships, sharing product knowledge, and helping clients work toward their financial goals.

The role includes greeting clients, managing lobby traffic and appointments, servicing and opening accounts, helping clients use digital and self-service banking tools, and performing branch operations. You must follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.

Requirements

• Client service experience or comparable experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to deliver attentive and friendly service and create a welcoming environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and demonstrate genuine care and concern for clients.
• Ability to communicate clearly and politely, understand client needs, and anticipate those needs.
• Ability to resolve client issues quickly and accurately, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver consistent, seamless service.
• Ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately.

• Cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients as they enter the branch and provide attentive, friendly service.
• Use a tablet to manage lobby traffic, check clients into the waiting queue, and schedule or cancel client meetings.
• Provide account servicing and maintenance and open new accounts in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory and banking requirements.
• Educate and assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions and technology options, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Build client relationships by listening actively, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, and sharing relevant product knowledge and solutions.
• Partner with branch team members to help clients achieve their financial goals and deliver seamless service.
• Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault or ATM, while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
