Location Onsite in Hunt Valley, MD. The Associate Automation Engineer will design, analyze, modify, and integrate robotics, automation, technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products. In this role you will develop, implement, and test preventative maintenance plans, interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment, and tooling.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
  • 0 - 1 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned tasks in design, analysis, modification, and integration under close supervision.
  • Apply standard methods, drawings, and procedures to develop solutions.
  • Prepare documentation, test records, and configuration updates; support preventive maintenance planning and interim corrective actions; collect data, perform basic measurements, and contribute to validation activities.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Participate in continuous learning and skill development.
  • Collaborate within team processes and follow established workflows to ensure consistency and reliability in automation engineering tasks.
  • Demonstrate foundational understanding of automation concepts and tools.
  • Apply attention to detail and disciplined execution.
  • Interpret technical drawings and standard operating instructions.
