Requirements

JD from an accredited law school
Must be admitted to practice in NY
2+ years of litigation experience
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present legal arguments clearly and concisely.

medical malpractice or healthcare litigation experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of medical malpractice and healthcare defense matters from inception through resolution.
Take and defend depositions, appear in court, and participate in all phases of litigation.
Develop litigation strategy in partnership with experienced attorneys and firm leadership.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other substantive legal filings.
Build strong relationships with healthcare clients by providing strategic counsel and regular case updates.
Work on complex and high-profile healthcare litigation, including a significant docket of COVID-related claims and other emerging liability matters.
