About The Position

Our client, an award-winning boutique law firm in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with three to five years of experience in real estate, property, and/or commercial litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, courtroom exposure, and the autonomy to drive cases forward. The Associate Attorney will manage an active caseload, work directly with clients, and handle matters from initial intake through resolution while receiving mentorship and support from an accomplished legal team.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar and good standing.
  • Three to five years of property, real estate, commercial, and/or general litigation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials and a polished professional background.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience independently managing litigation matters, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Confidence appearing in court and communicating directly with clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
  • Ability to identify problems, research solutions, and execute without extensive supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms and case-management technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage real estate, property, and business litigation matters from intake through resolution.
  • Develop case strategies and proactively advance assigned matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, strategic legal advice.
  • Manage discovery, court filings, deadlines, and other case-related requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and current case records.
  • Remain current on applicable laws, regulations, and legal developments.
