About The Position

Kirton McConkie is hiring an Associate Attorney for its dedicated international practice group in Salt Lake City. The role requires significant international legal experience and involves serving international clients, with an interest or experience working with clients in Europe preferred. Candidates should demonstrate high academic performance, excellent analytical and writing skills, strong motivation to learn, hard work, and a commitment to ethics. Candidates must be admitted to the Utah Bar or qualify for admission.

Requirements

2 to 6 years of significant international legal experience.
High academic performance and excellent analytical and writing skills.
Meaningful international legal experience with a recognized international law firm, major multinational corporation, government, or similar employer.
Membership in the Utah Bar or qualification to obtain admission to the Utah Bar; a Juris Doctor or another English common law degree may be required.
Commitment to ethics, strong motivation to learn, and a hard-working approach.

Nice To Haves

Interest or experience working with clients in Europe.
Experience drafting commercial contracts or corporate documents, or advising on international trade, data privacy, or immigration.
Experience living or working overseas.
Fluency in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, or another European language.
