About The Position

O’Hagan Meyer seeks an attorney with at least 3 year of litigation experience to join our Hermosa Beach office. The ideal candidate will have experience litigating in some or all of the areas of employment, business/commercial litigation, professional liability, premises liability, and/or directors & officers defense. This is an ideal opportunity for an attorney looking to handle a wide-range of civil litigation matters involving cutting-edge topics and sophisticated, interesting clients. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation (preferred experienced in employment or commercial litigation)
  • Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.
  • Admission to the state bar of California required.

Responsibilities

  • legal research
  • drafting of pleadings motions and other documents
  • taking and defending depositions
  • drafting and answering discovery requests
  • trial preparation
  • trial assistance
  • communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effectively
  • some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions
