About The Position

Mason Law & Planning Group is seeking an Associate Attorney to build a long-term practice serving families and business owners in the Monument and Colorado Springs area. The firm provides estate planning, wealth management, and strategic business services, and emphasizes personalized client service, collaboration, communication, and thoughtful legal guidance. This is a full-time, onsite role focused on estate planning, business planning, probate, and trust administration. The attorney will work directly with clients to understand their goals and develop plans to protect their families, businesses, and legacies. The role offers the opportunity to deepen estate planning expertise while building client relationships and working with a supportive legal team.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Active license to practice law in Colorado and good standing with the Colorado State Bar, or currently pursuing admission through reciprocity.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional client service.
Excellent listening skills and a thoughtful, client-centered approach.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and exercise sound judgment.
Ability to travel up to 10 percent when needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of estate planning experience is strongly preferred.
Experience conducting client meetings and drafting estate or business planning documents is preferred.
