About The Position

Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's rights law firms with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, GA and FL. We are seeking an Associate Attorney for our Raleigh, NC office. This role involves handling court appearances, managing litigation, and communicating with clients and other parties involved in legal cases.

Requirements

Licensed in the State of North Carolina to practice law.
Comfortable appearing in court.
Ability to appear on time consistently using your own method of transportation.
Multi-tasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Additional licensing in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV).

Responsibilities

Prepare for and appear timely for court appearances within reasonable travel distance.
Ensure timely and reliable appearance at courthouses.
Travel overnight for certain locations may be required; driving a car is required for some locations.
Review and request coverage for court calls where an Associate will not appear, including attaching necessary documents and orders.
Draft, review, and file necessary motions during litigation.
Prepare for trials/arbitrations, which may include overnight stays in distant counties.
Communicate with consumers, consumer's employers, and consumer's attorneys to resolve accounts/suits.
