About The Position

San Francisco boutique law firm specializing in representing plaintiffs in insurance coverage disputes seeks an associate with one to five years of experience to join their team. The attorney will take responsibility for all aspects court litigation. Although supervision is always available, there will be ample and immediate opportunity for considerable individual responsibility. Working in conjunction with senior staff, the litigation attorney will be responsible for:

• Strong commitment to obtaining justice for individuals who have been wronged by their insurance company

Responsibilities

• Legal research and drafting pleadings, briefs, and memoranda
• All facets of discovery and motion practice
• Working collaboratively with other attorneys and staff, clients, and experts witnesses
• Preparing for and participating in hearings and trials
• Negotiating settlement agreements
